Feasibility Study Report

As I have discussed with you, the Firm of Walsh & Associates conducted a feasibility study of our parish's desire for, and ability to pay for, a Parish Center.

The study was conducted in two phases: personal interviews and in-pew surveys. The personal interviews were held the week of May 3 - 7, 2010. The in-pew surveys were conducted the weekend of May 8 - 9, 2010.

48 families (70 individuals) participated in the interviews and 606 parishioners completed the in-pew surveys.

I have received the results of the study and would like to share them with you. The following are the results of the survey:

Question 1.  How satisfied are you with St. Paul Catholic Church and the programs and services the church provides?

Question 2.  How well informed would you say that you've been about the church's needs and plans to build a new Parish Center including both classrooms/meeting spaces and a new pastoral Office Center?

I would like to personally thank the parishioners who participated in the personal interviews, and those who completed the in-pew surveys. The results of the surveys have been submitted to the Diocese. They will evaluate the feasibility results and our financial statements to determine if our request to construct a Parish Center is approved.

I will inform you as soon as we have their reply. I ask that you join me in asking the Holy Spirit to guide their decision.
