| Catholic Faith
Formation, formerly called CCD, is available for young people of St.
Paul Parish, Pre-School through High School.
Cut off for all 2007 - 2008
registration is Sunday, September 9, 2007. Until then, registration is
MWF 8:30-11:30am in the CFF Office, or M-F in the Rectory, and Sundays
from 10:30am-12:30pm.
Religious
education is available for Pre-School (3 and 4 year olds) through 12th
grade. This is an ongoing program to provide opportunities for growth in
faith through a variety of activities. Students meet one day a week for
formal study in the book Blessed are We,
Silver Burdette Publishing, and are also offered prayer
services, retreats, and social activities. Parents are included as an
integral part of the program as catechists, aides, office and activity
aides. Classes are on Sundays, 10-11am, 11am-12pm, and 12-1pm.
Children are
prepared to receive the Holy Eucharist, their First Holy Communion and
their Confirmation through these classes.
Our Children’s CFF program is currently presenting a 2 year program for
the preparation for Confirmation and it is proving very successful.
The program for First Communion has
also been expanded to a 2 year program for students.
Children normally receive First
Communion in 2nd grade. The children currently in 1st grade will
continue their program with the second year in First Communion classes
and will receive the Sacrament in May 2008.
All other students up to and including 5th grade will be required to
complete a 2 year program.
Fees: $40.00 per child, maximum
$80.00 per family for the Sunday classes.
